Asia Pacific Wireless program manager responsible for developing and implementing a go-to-market strategy for Agilent’s Wireless Portfolio. Provided thought leadership in understanding how active data could be incorporated into an existing OSS or how a new OSS could be architected to make use of active testing data which included what services to test, what KPI metrics to monitor, how the data could be visualised and how reporting should be carried out.

Led the pre-sales, architecture and subsequently the delivery team in transforming a Service Providers Fault Management Operation Support System into a Service Management Operation Support System. This Business Transformation initiative involved re-architecting the IP Broadband fault management system into a Service Management / Assurance system. Responsibilities included understanding the data that was available from the Broadband network; analysing how additional data could be gathered; analysing what data and KPIs should be used in the OSS based on the customers requirement; analysing what correlation rules could be applied to the data to perform root cause analysis; running workshops with various depts to understand their OSS requirements; architecting and using Proof Of Concepts to show how a OSS could be implemented to meet the service providers requirements. The system was implemented in 2002. At the regional level provided technical support and consultancy services in transforming the data gathered from the Agilent Product Range into an Operation Support System to manage Broadband networks.

Initiated marketing activities for TMN in Singapore, China, Australia, Hong Kong, and New Zealand.Developed marketing plans with the Worldwide Network Operations team based on IBM’s Market Management Process and responsible for evaluating new products to gauge whether they should be marketed in Asia Pacific.

Provided marketing and in-depth subject matter expertise, network design and consultancy for IBM's broadband hubs, routers and Video on Demand Solutions. Carried out trade show demonstrations and pre-sales activities such as proposal generation, consultancy and architecture design in the Asia Pacific region. Projects included the design and installation of a nationwide Ethernet/ATM router network for a Service Provider in the Philippines and consultancy projects in Singapore, China and Taiwan.A member of IBM's worldwide ATM Council responsible for developing ATM marketing plans and technical cookbooks. Public Sector Networking specialist providing marketing and technical support for IBM's SNA and TCP/IP Networking Solutions. Projects included implementing both Mainframe and PC based networks.
