We provide problem resolution with trading counter parties for a group of complex investment funds, on behalf of a challenging base of institutional clients. We are responsible for security transactions capture, processing, pricing, corporate actions / settlement, client and counterpart reconciliations.

Bonds Closing / Credit Control teamCredit Control Officer-- Internal control created to mitigate risk.- Understanding the risk exposure that exists to Citibank in providing credit facilities, a critical factor in reducing the risk of compensation payments or reputation loss.- Maintaining a current understanding of prevailing market conditions.- Ensure to be pro-active in updating system to any changes in the global market (GIIPS and Russia & Ukraine).- Reviewing and updating clients credit facilities or Daylight Overdraft Limit (DOL) facilities to which there are over 1,200 lines.- Assess all payments that exceed DOL facility and highlight any payments that require further review from the relevant PAM officer.- Providing daily reports to senior management for all upcoming payments and raise any potential risks.- I created and implemented a system enhancement which uniformed all payments in our internal payments system. It resulted in more accurate reporting and reduced the risk of manual error.- This enhancement reduced the reliance of manual involvement in updating all DOL facilities allowing the system to do this automatically as well as tracking any outstanding non-payments for a client which would reduce their facility accordingly.Bonds Closing team -- Assess and analyze any new stand alone debt issues that Citi have been appointed as an agent role in some capacity. - Involves liaising closely with Sales team, Relationship Managers, Clearing Systems and our Clients. - Requires detailed product knowledge- Creating detailed portfolios specific to a clients needs- Ensuring that all the terms and conditions of the notes are reflected accurately in our system

This was achieved through:- providing accurate and timely calculations to clients and relevant markets- building and enhancing client relationships by providing a market leading service- ensuring all calculations are in line with ISDA / ICMA regulations - analysing and interpreting various types of debt structures - providing training procedures for all new starters - maintaining operational procedures to ensure all new staff have a constructive platform to utilise
