As a Project Manager I learned a lot about managing personal, setting up jobs, working within a budget, maintaining a WIP, overlooking up to 17 staff members, managing client outcomes, staff development and recruiting.Part of my duties were to ensure jobs were done smoothly, efficiently and on budget. To achieve this, I managed my resources and team efficiently, as well as liaised with clients if something went wrong to resolve the matter and leave with an excellent outcome for the client. In this position I also learned a lot about all aspects of running a branch such as employment of staff (recruiting, booking medicals ordering uniforms) and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ever-changing environment and manage a WIP.I feel being an effective project manager means you have to manager your team effectively with the resources available, to get an excellent outcome for the client and the business. After all the customer is what keeps the business thriving and Programmed put this front and center which helped ingrain it in my working life. The reporting of injuries and logging them in ProSafe as well as reporting them in a timely manner to the Manager.

As Business Development Manager I was able to further challenge myself by expanding and growing my existing set of skills. Writing proposals, measuring sites, and providing bid and tender support. This involved working with both internal and external Project managers, body corporates and key stakeholders. I used my skills to cross sell other services like grounds and building projects to give my clients a one stop shop and to continue to grow the business. Through CRM I was able to submit leads, manage a sales pipeline and close out opportunities, as well as liaise with potential and existing customers. Other tasks I was responsible for was ensuring TimeFillers were submitted correctly and on time by my staff members. Some office duties included answering the phone in a professional manner and returning calls.

Team Leader of a Mobile Crew that was responsible for looking after Coles Express Service stations, Recce Bathroom & Kitchen, and other high-end sites. My responsibilities included holding safety talks, providing training, updating clients, and ensuring all work is completed on time and to the client’s satisfaction, while keeping to WPCG guidelines. Ensuring that my team members have all the necessary safety equipment and tools are operational and safe. The reporting of injuries and logging them in ProSafe as well as reporting them in a timely manner to the Manager.

Completed Apprenticeship early in 2012. Extensive experience in Mowing, Hedging, Brush cutting, Hand Wedding, Chemical Spraying, Detailing work, Chippers, Mulching . Some of my other tasks included the responsibility of setting up and removing Roadside Mowing signs (TTM), filling out job completion cards and necessary Traffic Management plans, as well as managing and supervising our Roadside Mowing Crew. Experience working on Government contracts that involved providing conflict resolution and resolving any concerns the public may raise regarding to broken or damaged property, while maintaining a high standard of customer service and accountability.
