Senior Landscape Design ManagerHigh Speed 2 Ltd (Hs2) Jan 2024 - PresentThe Podium, 1 Eversholt Street, LondonI am the Senior Landscape Design Manager for the central section of the HS2 project between London and Birmingham, part of the HS2 Landscape design team which intern is part of the overall HS2 Design Team, including Architects, Urban Designers, Active Travel, Public Art and Inclusive Design. The Landscape team operates within a fully integrated and multi discipline environment working closely with a wide range of technical disciplines including Engineering and Environment teams to meet a range of technical and environmental design objectives. HS2 is currently the largest Infrastructure project in Europe. The Central section is a 80km stretch from the North Chilterns near Wendover through to Southam in the West Midlands. It includes 330 hectares of new Landscape design, 3 million new trees, 7 km of green tunnels and 15 viaducts. The landscape design will create increased biodiversity, and new Landscape habitats. I am pleased to be working with HS2's partners EKFB for the design and construction of this section of the new railway line.
