I am the Senior Landscape Design Manager for the central section of the HS2 project between London and Birmingham, part of the HS2 Landscape design team which intern is part of the overall HS2 Design Team, including Architects, Urban Designers, Active Travel, Public Art and Inclusive Design. The Landscape team operates within a fully integrated and multi discipline environment working closely with a wide range of technical disciplines including Engineering and Environment teams to meet a range of technical and environmental design objectives. HS2 is currently the largest Infrastructure project in Europe. The Central section is a 80km stretch from the North Chilterns near Wendover through to Southam in the West Midlands. It includes 330 hectares of new Landscape design, 3 million new trees, 7 km of green tunnels and 15 viaducts. The landscape design will create increased biodiversity, and new Landscape habitats. I am pleased to be working with HS2's partners EKFB for the design and construction of this section of the new railway line.

During my time as a Technical Director Landscape Architecture, I spearhead landscape architecture projects from conceptualisation to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives and project scopes. I oversee and develop a team of associate director landscape architect, two project landscape architects, and two urban designers. I provide expert design guidance, technical expertise, and innovative solutions to create sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing landscapes. I collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary consultancy teams of , Urban Design, Transport planning , Traffic, Civil and Highway engineers to integrate landscape architecture seamlessly into projects.The following are the highlights of the value that I bring to the organisation;• Directed landscape architecture efforts for Longbridge West, a Private Developer Client ◦ Oversaw extensive landscape planting design, green infrastructure design, river restoration, and public open space design on a 75-hectare site. ◦ Guided the project through RIBA design stages 2, 3, 4, and 5. ◦ Emphasized commercial advantages of creating significant landscaped public open spaces to enhance liveability, address biodiversity, and combat climate change.• Collaborated with Torbay Road Paignton to lead streetscape design for Paignton Town Centre. ◦ Developed innovative solutions through feasibility design, aiding in the successful application for government funding. ◦ Refined the design through consultation and detailed design, focusing on materiality and cost-effectiveness to maximize the client's budget.• Established an entirely new landscape service within company, serving as the charge to create a Landscape Institute registered design practice.• Led creation and growth of landscape service area within PJA, expanding firm's capabilities and services.•Delivered technical advice to regional offices

As a Technical Director for Landscape and Urban Design I led the design process for public realm and landscape architecture projects, through all RIBA design stages. I oversaw a dedicated Landscape team, including four direct reports and 14 indirect reports, with a team structure consisting of one associate director and three principals. I also acted as the lead project manager for larger public realm schemes ensuring project success. I managed business development including annual business plans, proposals, and competitive bids for both public sector and private commissions. I produced engaging client presentations, The following are the highlights of the value that I bring to the organisation;• Hired, new staff and expanded landscape design team to 17 landscape and urban design staff, generating annual income of £1M; achieved eight national awards for consistently exceeding stakeholder expectations.• Spearheaded the Kensington High street project for a local authority client, serving as the lead designer and project manager and receiving industry recognition and awards.• Achieved 20% profit on revenue of £890K in financial year 2018/19, demonstrating strong financial acumen.• Ensured high-quality project deliverables, conducted quality control reviews to minimize errors, and maintained compliance with design standards • Enforced a robust quality control framework, ensuring adherence to Landscape Architecture standards, regulations, and best practices.• Managed the streetscape design for Exhibition Road project, ( Europe's largest Shared space design) through feasibility RIBA stage 2 and then worked with Dixon Jones architects to mange the design interface with Engineering and technical design at RIBA stages 3,4,5 for a local authority client,• Led multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless coordination between architectural and technical engineering aspects, resulting in an internationally recognized and award-winning innovative design

Development of service diversification through development of Urban Design skill sets and innovative traffic engineering solutions . Achievements : Working with the Technical Director for Public realm focused around emerging agenda for high quality urban public realm projects , particularly in London for Local authority clients , TFL and the GLA. These included , Kensington High Street , Walworth Road , Hans Crescent and Oxford Street. Achieved 3 national design awards during this time.Developed design team from 6 to 15 members of staff .
