I completed my MA in history at Queen's University in 2015 and my doctorate in 2021. My research interests are in revealing the untold story of French-Canadian mariners who played essential roles in preserving British rule in what was to become Canada between the American invasions of 1775 and the end of the War of 1812. I have been a speaker at the annual Canadian Historical Society Conference and many other venues both locally and internationally.
