This position is responsible for initiating and developing all communication activities regarding the William R. Starr Campground and Conference Center. This includes but is not limited to, managing communications and activities for services and events, audio/visual services, website administration, camp promotions, recreation, and fundraising initiatives.

I served as in house evangelist as well as the creative pastor. I started, “HYPHEN,” a young adult ministry and trained a replacement. I also implemented upgrades in our media and outreach departments.

As Lead Pastor our congregation doubled from 50 to over 100 in attendance. I was able to create an infrastructure for the church that included building a pastoral leadership team that oversaw new ministries for children, youth, young adults and men and women. I spearheaded the building of a new Kidz facility that became a vibrant part of our church. We remodeled seventy percent of our building debt free.

In 2007 I was asked to come back to The Potter’s House to create a small group ministry. I selected and trained nine small group leaders. I also wrote four curriculums for our groups entitled, "Be The Change, iLead, We Shall Overcome and The Journey."

As Senior Pastor I developed a team of Bible Study teachers that resulted in growing our church from 30 to over 90 in attendance. My focus on families and spiritual growth led to consistency for our church.

In 2000 I started with seven students and by focusing on our community we grew to an average of 100 students. I built a strong leadership team using adults and students to facilitate this growth. I built partnerships with our local schools having them perform at our church events throughout the year. I orchestrated a food drive “STUFF THE BUS” for the Food Bank of South Central Michigan, collecting 2,600 pounds of food.
