Having trained in the field in various trades (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) I learned how to manage myself and to push towards my next achievement. As Zig Ziglar said, “Timid salesmen have skinny kids”…and I ain’t skinny. I also take time to share my experience and training with my fellow sales professionals, and glean what knowledge I can from them as well. I developed a personal sales system based on the reading and studying I did and suited it to the HVAC industry. Creating this system was trial and error. My efforts led to a 30% year over year increase in the residential sales department. The company also placed in the top 10 in the state of North Carolina for XV Variable Speed system sales against companies that had sales teams of up to 10 reps with just myself at the helm of the sales department.
