In the frame of VEGA Launcher Vehicle (LV) program, I am the main thermal analyst for what concerns System and Sub-system: I created the entire Launcher Geometrical and Mathematical Thermal Models for the prediction of the temperature trends of the Launcher itself during the flight and stand-by on ground phases.I am the Engineering responsible for both VEGA and ARIANE5 MPS External Thermal Protections, computing the main projectual characteristics of insulating materials for the Launcher uses. I am the Main Responsible for the Satellite Thermal Analyses coupled with VEGA LV, in order to verify the accomplishment of the mission (from a thermal point of view) without criticalities on electrical sub-systems. In this frame I perform also orbital analyses in order to compute correctly the environmental heat loads acting on the Satellites+VEGA during the flight phases.For the Under my personal responsibility there are also the following activities:• VEGA LV Roll and Attitude Control System Thermal analyses• VEGA LV Liquid Propulsion System (LPS) Thermal analyses • Safe and Army Protection System engineer• LYRA development program thermal responsible. I cooperate as Thermal Expert to the project of the External Thermal Protections of “IXV” re-entry vehicle, as per the “Retro-Rockets” for VEGA LV.
