• Producing deliverables to form the order including Data Sheets, Schedules and Load Lists.• Working with the electrical engineering and design team to confirm the requirements of each package and to present material requisitions to the client for approval to purchase.• Reviewed supplier bids and produced recommendations on order placement for the client.• Reviewed and commented on supplier documentation; managing change where applicable.• Working closely with other disciplines, leading a cross-discipline team of process, instrument and piping engineers to fulfil the requirements of an expanding heat tracing system.• Coordinating requirements for the junction box and ladder rack and cable tray packages with the instruments and telecoms departments.• Approved testing and attended Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).• Managed change impact in weekly meetings with project management.• Raised technical queries with the client and wrote formal design change notifications. • Sole electrical responsibility for block valve sites, producing deliverables such as load lists, power system studies, equipment lists, cable schedules.• Producing cable sizing calculations. • Overseeing electrical aspects of several mechanical packages including the potable water package and sewage treatment package.• Providing input to the design team checking deliverables such as single line diagrams, distribution board schedules, block diagrams and interconnection diagrams.
