In this role, my responsibilities included: In depth business advisory work, in effect acting as a quasi-FD for clients, assisting them with business planning, forecasting, management information systems and a wide range of other issues. Planning, supervision and review of audits, accounts preparation and other work by team of 15. Ad hoc assignments including due diligence, aiding clients in the preparation of tenders, forecasts & business plans and selection and implementation of new accounting software.

I worked as a manager in the Unit for Growing Businesses (UFGB), a special department set up to assist small high growth companies in achieving their potential through the design and implementation of operational, financial and IT systems. This was in addition to assisting the marketing partner in attracting new clients to the firm through seminars, presentations and networking events.
