Without an extra-ordinary leader and visionary leader like Dave this would have been impossible. We continued our common mission in the bringup and verification of different MIPS processor lines, which all came to market on-time (and without bugs ….) and were the major building block of SGI’s revenue stream back then. Dave has amply proved his leadership skills, high personal integrity and trust even under high stress conditions and always kept me the back free to be able to take the right engineering decision. We worked across different geographies (California, Mid-West, and Europe), but with Dave this truly was one team sitting in the next office. Dave is someone you can trust and rely on your eyes close."
