Science communication is my passion. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees with a focus on the field of paleontology. Through those experiences, I came to know the world of scientific research and discovery. I've taught at every age-level there is, from elementary school field trips in museums to college-level university classes to science presentations for adults and even other teachers. This, I discovered, is where my passion lies: communicating science to the public. These days, I communicate science in-person and online at the ETSU Museum of Natural History, I work as a freelance science writer, and I am co-host of the Common Descent Podcast, a podcast about paleontology and the history of life on Earth.
