As an Electronics Mechanic for the last three years, support the Logistics Readiness Center by: routinely receiving, inspecting and repairing a variety of telecommunications equipment; analyzing telecommunications systems, trouble-shooting and solving complex telecommunications issues; and providing swift, efficient, and reliable service to all clientele.• Analyze telecommunications systems utilizing test instruments (i.e. distortion analyzers, high frequency pulse generators, and frequency synthesizers).• Inspect electronic equipment for quality assurance before it is shipped.• Maintain and repair a variety of equipment, including but not limited to: Defense Advanced GPS Receivers (DAGRs), Night Vision Goggles, Power Amps, and Thermal Scopes.

• Evaluate, maintain, and monitor telecommunication switching systems and facilities for the Network Enterprise Center (NEC)• Acquire, deploy, and maintain equipment valued more than $1.5 million• Act as liaison to the supply contractor, ensuring sufficient quality materials available at all times and highest standard of service• Diagnose potential issues with cable and fiber connections by utilizing Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) and Optical Loss Test Set (OLTS)• Develop, prepare, and recommend schematics to ensure highest level of efficiency while following protocol, policy, and procedures• Troubleshoot various systems to determine the root cause of malfunction; interpret analysis, testing, and results to develop and implement equipment maintenance and restoration procedures• Assist in basic operation of Outside Plant activities, including but not limited to: routine maintenance; cleaning, installing, and removing LAN drops and cable• Offer consistent, knowledgeable, personable, swift, and reliable customer service on various pieces of equipment and a variety of systems
