My journey in the world of technology began with the introduction and evolution of the Internet in Spain. From the late 90s with Infovia ISPs (the Spanish dial-in network) to the content portals era (such as Ya.com or Terra) in the early 21st century, I have been part of each significant phase.Throughout my career, I have evolved from Network and IT Security Architecture projects to managing complex global System Architecture definitions, such as the Vueling and Clickair merger. After many years dedicated to systems, security and network infrastructure, I had the opportunity to move towards a role related to managing the technology demand of business units, from where I led projects focused on digital commerce (web and mobile), revenue management, online marketing, product definition, loyalty, social media, and customer care as Business Partner Consultant initially, and later as a Head of Product Owners managing the group of Commercial Product Owners.From this position I had the opportunity to discover product-oriented organizations and the principles of agility. This allowed me to spearheaded the cultural shift from waterfall processes to agile methodologies. This transition had a high impact in the company enhanced our projects' time-to-market and increased flexibility, enabling us to adapt quickly to technological advancements and customer needs.After Vueling, I joined Qida (home-care) as Chief Technology Officer and later as Senior Advisor on Tech and Product, contributing to the company's continuous growth and technological advancements.Currently, I am serving as the VP of Technology at Holaluz.com, leading our technological strategy and innovations. Prior to this, I was the Engineering Director and Area Product Manager at Holaluz, overseeing critical software engineering development and digital product strategy.In addition to my full-time roles, I am the CTO at Agile Product Strategy, where we help companies innovate and transform their digital products, and the Co-Founder of digitalproduct.es, focusing on product training and consultancy. I also contributed to The Product Monster as a Professor in Digital Product Management, sharing my knowledge and experience with aspiring product managers.I am passionate about technology and innovation, with a customer-centric mindset, goal-oriented leadership, and a focus on driving business agility and cost efficiency through technological initiatives.
