Hey there! I'm David, and I build easy-to-use software. Although I graduated from the D'Amore McKim School of Business, I consider design to be my true calling. I thoroughly enjoy creating tools and toys that make life more efficient and enjoyable. During my sophomore year at Northeastern I co-founded a company called Accessible Information. Our core offering, Skimmin, was a mobile app designed to inform users of the most important news stories in a minute a day. For the first two years of AI's existence, I focused on backend systems. My co-founder and I developed an algorithm in Python and MySQL that crawled the 20 most-trafficked news websites and clustered similar articles across different publications using Key Word Analysis and basic Natural Language Processing. The latter half of my time at AI was dedicated to UI/UX. In other words, the consumer side of things. Digital interfaces are the perfect medium for me to leverage my formal marketing education and technology skill set all at once.Please drop me a line if you would like to connect.
