I am owner and director of Ackland Webb, which I formed in 2011 having formerly been a partner in a larger Kent based firm for over 10 years.I am a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, and a member of the Academy of Experts and the Expert Witness Institute. I have been a practising accountant for around 20 years and an expert witness for nearly 15 years.My general practice work is primarily with individuals and with owner managed businesses. I advise a wide range of small and medium sized companies, partnerships and sole traders on a range of issues including accounting, VAT, income & corporation taxes, capital gains tax, business planning. I offer a friendly ear to all my clients and work in their best interests at all times. I am a registered auditor and have audited companies in most business sectors, including charities and specialist assignments.My forensic experience covers the provision of expert witness and expert adviser services to law firms throughout the South East and in London. I have prepared reports on a wide range of matters including:- Matrimonial disputes, including share/business valuation, tax calculations and advisory work;- Shareholder and partnership disputes;- Business interruption and loss of profits claims;- Commercial disputes;- Loss of earnings arising from personal injury;- Theft- Commercial/employee fraud- Confiscation orders- Other criminal matters;I have given evidence in County and Crown Court and have received instructions on matters at these Courts and at the High Court and Principal Registry. I prepare in excess of 25 reports per annum.I strongly believe that my general practice and expert witness work are complementary to each other and equally important in my professional life.

I was a partner & director at Dendy Neville, a high quality Kent based firm of accountants for over 10 years. I was the firm's forensic accounting principal. I dealt with much of the firm's charity audit and regulatory work.
