I have worked in the IT industry for over 45 years; as the founder of Advanced Network Products in 1984, I started the company as a data communications supplier and finished as a Managed Service Provider. ANP served clients throughout the Philadelphia region, providing Cisco Systems enterprise WAN, LAN, VoIP and Security solutions. Over time, we migrated to outsourced and managed Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud solutions for clients with and without internal IT teams. On August 31, 2023, I sold the company to Coretelligent and their Private Equity partner Norwest Equity Partners. During my business career, I have had the wonderful opportunity to be invited into key industry leadership councils, serving on the Motorola, Newbridge, Micom, and Cisco Systems National VAR advisory boards. Presently I am serving on the ConnectWise Advisory Board. I have also been active in a few educational, government and non-profit boards: the Penn State Entrepreneurial Board, Abington Township Economic Development Committee, Boy Scouts of America National Voting Member, and the BSA Cradle of Liberty Council located in Philadelphia Executive Committee and Board.I was a member of a Vistage business peer group in Philadelphia for 25 years; during that time learned so much from my fellow members as well as grew lifelong friendships. I was also a 7-year member of the ConnectWise peer group program IT Evolve. During my IT Evolve tenure I learned a great deal about Best-In-Class metrics as well learned from my fellow peer group members. I feel so strongly about my positive peer group experiences, I am now a go-giver and am becoming an IT-Evolve peer group facilitator. In my semi-retirement, I hope with my wife Patty to enjoy our time together with our family and friends, as well as focus on our new life and legacy impact.
