With Tastemakers, it was my duty to provide a regular flow of in-depth articles on new album releases, local shows, and the current landscape of music, delivering content under strict and consistent deadlines. Publications include a discography-wide review of the Flaming Lips and an interview with the band Pallbearer. I have been published both online and in print.

As Community Events Intern, it was my responsibility that the six counties that make up the Bay Area chapter of the American Red Cross were providing disaster preparedness materials and information to the people of their communities in an efficient and effective manner. More specifically, I was tasked with receiving event requests from local companies and organizations, synthesizing and converting that information, and disseminating it across the Red Cross network. As well, I had to learn the inner workings of the Red Cross network system amidst a major structural change within the chapter so that I could train the county leaders to be autonomous within their own regions.
