The Charles Parsons Group is one of Australasia’s leading textile, fashion fabrics and soft furnishing groups. It has operations in all Australian mainland states as well as New Zealand, China, Singapore and Fiji.Responsible for all financial and commercial matters for the Group. Working closely with the Group Managing Director in setting and implementing group strategy.

Up until its private equity backed MBO in 2003, TCG was owned by Cordiant Communications Group plc. After a dual track sales process, TCG was sold to WPP plc in September 2005.Responsible for all financial and commercial matters for the group including significant responsibilities in sale processes in 2003 and 2005.Prior to appointment to CFO role in April 2000, I held the position of Group Financial Controller.

Having joined as part of their cadetship program, I rose through the ranks to Audit Manager. With the exception of a two year secondment to the London office I was based in the Sydney office.Exposure to a wide variety of businesses across banking, building and construction, FMCG and advertising industries.
