Most recently, I worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Showmax, the second-largest online subscription video-on-demand service in Africa. As part of the Ruby backend team, I supported features related to billing, authentication, internal management systems, and user migration, utilizing technologies such as Ruby, PostgreSQL, NodeJS, Git, AWS, and Kubernetes.

At AwareGO, a platform serving cybersecurity training to around 200,000 end users, I worked as a Senior Software Engineer in a small Czech/Icelandic team. I primarily focused on backend development using NodeJS, while also gaining experience with ReactJS, MySQL, Git, and AWS.

During my brief stand at Etnetera a.s., I worked as a Senior Software Engineer on a promotion management software for the Albert company. The project was developed using NodeJS, ReactJS, and MongoDB, but was unfortunately terminated prematurely due to financial reasons by the customer.

At Alteryx Czech Republic s.r.o., I was part of an 8-person team working on the integration of data sources, connections, and licenses in the Alteryx Platform (cloud). As a Strong-Mid Software Engineer, I primarily focused on backend development using NodeJS, while also learning ReactJS. We employed Scrum methodology with 2-week sprints and utilized technologies such as PostgreSQL, Knex, Git, and MacOS.

At Rockwell Automation s.r.o., I worked as a Software Engineer, focusing on backend development using NodeJS. Most of my work revolved around the NodeJS Gateway, which our small team wrote from scratch. This Gateway is now used in various factories worldwide, including Volkswagen and Coca-Cola, as well as oil platforms. It collects data from devices, controllers, and databases, sending them to the Cloud. I created the SQL Adapter and participated in the development of other essential components of the Gateway, such as the Broker, ZeroMQ communication, and Cloud Application. The project also involved working with Linux, Git, Redis, LevelDB, Mocha, and Gulp.

At AIMA s.r.o., a company specializing in the distribution of cochlear implants, I worked as an IT support & developer. I was responsible for developing and maintaining the company's internal server and websites using technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3. The role also involved working with Debian, Apache, MySQL, MS Excel, and Adobe Illustrator to support various aspects of the company's IT infrastructure.
