My current position with ITMA involves administering a variety of systems for several clients around Australia, largely in the mining and engineering industries. A core component of my role is to automate support tasks, manage application deployments, platform integration and the development of in-house tools/solutions.

• Responsible for managing Datto RMM, maintenance / improvements.• Deploying applications through Datto RMM, InTune and group policy.• Administering changes to Office 365 and Azure for multiple client tenants.• Developing and maintaining in-house tools such as a reporting dashboard, user management tool, AD auditing with MS Teams integration, Azure app that allows automated reporting on delegate tenants.• Managing company Github repo.• Creating and maintaining documentation on in-house tools and automated improvements.• General server administration tasks (disk extensions, maintenance, DNS configurations, GPO changes, backup/virtualization checks etc..).• General application & hardware support.

In this role i was responsible for;• Updating policies and procedures.• Escalation point for the Customer Service team.• Training new staff.• Documentation for our technical Knowledge Base.• Managing network (Enterprise Unifi) and local server infrastructure (Ubuntu servers). This entails supporting multiple local networks.• Linux administration (user creation, creating crontabs, kernel upgrades, server-side troubleshooting).• Troubleshooting basic Apache issues. Basic Apache configuration.• Making modifications to OCR definitions via an inhouse tool to improve accuracy of scanned documents (i.e. using a combination of contour removal, sharpen, dilate, erode to reduce image noise).• Advising clients such as Telstra on scanned documents that may be fake or altered.• Making improvements in detecting fake and altered documents using OpenCV. Prototyping in Python and implementation in C++. My experience is solely around feature detection.• Python scripting for data and image processing.• Troubleshooting problems with embedded device web interface (PHP).• Rolling out releases to our core application to clients such as Telstra via an inhouse update server.• General database administration tasks (i.e. MySQL database migrations, cleaning up data, recovering data, repairing MySQL databases etc).• Experience with Telerik chart controls, updating / developing PHP web pages used for reporting on scan data.• Provisioning docker containers for testing new application features.• Adding new documents to MongoDB for use with ML training using Python• General bash scripting (i.e. user account creation and configuration, resolving some database issues, migrating data between systems).

For this role, I was a member of the Enterprise Operations team. We were a team of 6 that provided level 2-3 support for all IT infrastructure around Western Australia.
