Dedicated and versatile engineer with 15 years of experience in the aerospace industry, supporting DoD and IC programs over various platforms. Most recent experience is as a Software Systems Engineer for a Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) team, and as a team lead within the organization. This position afforded me the opportunity to oversee and advise a number of flight software development teams using different development frameworks, from traditional waterfall approaches to Agile and semi-Agile approaches. I utilized and expanded my excellent communication skills to maintain close partner relationships with the contractors as well as the customer, gaining trusted status by both sides through sound technical advice and analysis and a close, proactive approach to the program. I have significant prior experience developing, testing, verifying, and delivering Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS) algorithms and software. I have overseen extensive ADCS software development throughout the entire lifecycle, including extensive troubleshooting experience, both through testing and on-orbit. I have also had extensive experience and exposure to systems engineering tasks, documentation, and day-to-day operation. Throughout my career, I have proven willing to step up and tackle any problem (whether within my area of expertise or not) to see that the program is successful. My experience has allowed me to be creative in helping streamline development and procurement approaches to large complex systems.
