The Systems Engineering Advanced Services contract is an 8(a) small business set-aside, cost-plus-fixed fee, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, with a minimum ordering value of $3 million and a maximum ordering value of $188 million. Alcyon Technical Services was formed as a joint venture between Alcyon Engineering and Stinger Gaffarian Technologies (SGT).Alcyon Technical Services is providing mission and instrument systems engineering services to the Mission Engineering & Systems Analysis Division and related Applied Engineering and Technology Directorate organizations at Goddard. The work involves the formulation and implementation of flight and ground systems and development and validation of new technologies.Alycon also provides services in all aspects of mission and instrument formulation and implementation for systems, science instruments, observatories, launch, ground system, spacecraft, and suborbital craft, such as aircraft, sounding rockets, unmanned aerial vehicles, balloons, including services for free-flying spacecraft, suborbital craft payloads and International Space Station payloads. The principal work is being performed at Goddard and the contractor’s facility.
