David’s role as a Safety Practitioner requires him to be intimately involved in the daily operation and activities of subcontractors, overseeing and guiding site safety and safe systems of work for subcontractors ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety legislation.David formerly worked for the OHS&W regulator Safework SA and had had extensive experience in auditing compliance systems, monitoring work place safety and administering the OccupationalHealth and Safety legislation. He has been involved in the inspection of works sites, compliance issuesassociated with the dangerous good legislation and the investigation and prosecution of workplace accidents.David had previously been in technical roles in heavy engineering, quality management, and metallurgical product failure analysis and reliability investigation.David’s passion for safety coupled with his legislative knowledge and procedural approach makes him a leader in his area of expertise.
