I started my career as a Legislative and Data Analyst who advocates for education equity in California. My approach to advocacy utilizes complex data syntheses as the basis for evidentiary argument. I learned from the best. I was the last student of the legendary John Mockler. I spent a full decade working under the guidance of Dale F Shimasaki, Ph.D. I have picked up invaluable information along the way from countless work colleagues in and out of the Sacramento Capitol area. Beginning in 2023, I assumed ownership of Strategic Education Services as its President/CEO.Beginning in 2024, I made the decision to merge a portion of the Strategic Education Services client list with Capitol Advisors Group, LLC, where I now act as one of the firm's partners focusing on higher education and education finance.In my free time, I'm either on the soccer field as a collegiate referee or at home with my loving family.
