After the merger of Chubb and Ace Insurance Groups a project was launched to integrate the data into a single data warehouse. A separate project was launched to produce a single source Federal and State Reporting Data Mart. As part of the Statistical Reporting Group was responsible for creating business requirements documents for all Auto, Personal lines, Inland Marine and Home Owners as well as state specicific documentation for Texas and Massachussetts from ISO STAT Plans. Currently this applies to Premium only however the documentation has been prepared in anticipation of Claims reporting due to begin later in the project. In consultation with business end users gathered business rules as per various corporate ISO Agreements across various systems and platforms. Activity included end to end data mapping, creating data definition load tables, lookup tables to translate data into ISO code values, creating the extract SQL for the various Statistical Reports and methodologies to manipulate, transform and validate data. Utilized Excel, IBM Netezza, SQL, SharePoint.
