David M. Nellis is a strategic brand marketing professional with more than 35 years of experience and success as an agency leader and consultant. David spent many years as a senior retail marketing and sales promotion executive, first with Hecht’s, as VP, public relations and public affairs, and then with the Raleigh’s/ Garfinckel’s specialty retail chain as VP, sales promotion and PR. His wife of some 30 years is Nycci Nellis, a leading, D.C. area food and wine journalist; a James Beard judge; publisher of TheListAreYouOnIt.com, and cohost with David since 2008 of the DC area’s one and only, food and wine variety show, Foodie and the Beast, broadcasting on 1500 AM Sundays at 11:00 a.m.Nycci and David have five kids, three grandkids (with another on the way), two huge Newfoundlands, and an old Victorian in Kensington, MD (and that's plenty to keep them busy!)
