At Jacobs I work in a Procurement Management role, most recently on the Santos CIEP project. I established project specific procurement processes, procedures and reporting formats for Santos CIEP, successfully provided governance and authority for Procurement and successfully managed and delivered multiple modular packages to Santos' remote project site(s), on time and within budget and to quality requirements.Prior to this latest Santos project, I worked on projects for BHP Billiton, Maaden and Oil Search.Responsibilities:• Draft and maintain procurement and contracting plans and strategies;• Overall responsibility for procurement across the project; • Primary interface with client on procurement matters;• Ensure overall commercial integrity and project values;• Monitor and report procurement status;• Coordinate inter-discipline interface and activities;• Manage stakeholders;• Process material/contract requisitions; • Prepare, complete, issue and approve Bidders Lists, RFT packages, Bid Openings, Commercial Bid Tabulations, Recommendations for Award, Purchase Orders, Contracts, Variations, etc;• Negotiate terms and conditions with preferred vendors;• Act as focal point for all communication with vendors, coordinate and chair technical/commercial meetings including kick-off and progress meetings;• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships;• Ensure vendor capability by performing financial and quality checks;• Oversee Expediting, Inspection and Logistics activities;• Process and approval of invoices; and• Purchase Order/Contract Closeout.
