Member of executive team; responsible for all functions of Tribunal Counsel Office including: judicial review of tribunal decisions, legal advice to the tribunal, quality assurance and training for adjudicative vice-chairs, and freedom of information and privacy matters.

Administrative tribunal adjudicator• Make decisions and provide written reasons in final level appeals in matters related to workers' compensation in British Columbia.• Preside at oral hearings.

Providing corporate governance support to the elected board of directors (Benchers) and Executive of the Law Society of British Columbia.• Annual and special general meetings, board, executive, and committee meetings.• Bencher elections and orientation.• Liaison with external stakeholders.• Development and implementation of governance policies.• Development and implementation of performance metrics.• Maintenance of wholly owned corporate subsidiaries.Managing process for recruitment and appointment of directors and representatives to external organizations.

Investigating and analyzing complaints of professional conduct in the legal profession.Assisting prosecuting counsel.Developing policy with respect to investigation of professional conduct complaints.Advising lawyers with respect to professional conduct and ethical issues.Advising and assisting employees with respect to workplace harassment issues.
