I am currently an undergraduate student at UNC majoring in Economics. I have great interest in economics, finance, and accounting. After receiving my bachelor’s degree, I plan to apply for the Master of Accounting program at UNC and begin to work towards passing the CPA exams. I have previously worked in fast food at Bojangles for two years. During this time I learned how to manage my crew, take action during stressful situations, and act as a support beam for other coworkers. I have also worked seasonally for Treasure Realty, specializing in handling high-value rental properties in Snead Ferry, NC. At Treasure Realty, I was tasked with completing multiple house inspections, interacting with renters and owners, and working in a team to fix and repair certain damages that were reported. From both of these jobs I learned how to better manage my time to ensure tasks were completed successfully and promptly, became a better leader for my coworkers to ask questions and rely on, and improved my communication skills interacting with customers, owners, and management.
