Guitarist, Founder, WriterFull Throttle 2003 - 2010Capital DistrictThe “FULL THROTTLE” Story Before the newest incarnation of the band FULL THROTTLE, the career of this Capital District power-rock/blues trio seemed headed in an opposite direction from vocalist Jennifer Steele, a very powerful, very beautiful singer with some serious country stylings. The band was working steadily but looking for a new direction and a new front person who could deliver the goods vocally. The band-David Nicholas, Joe Nichols, and Dave Heaton approached Steele about possibly joining up with them to see how the whole project would work out. Well as it turned out, Steele was looking to try something new too. They jokingly decided to compromise with the two totally different musical directions that they were respectively going and decided to give it a shot. The combination made the four of them realize that they were onto something. They worked out a combination of rock, pop, country and blues tunes that could keep any crowd dancing and singing along all night. Then they went out and played a few gigs which were very well received. They knew that had what it took and never looked back.
