One fantastic wife, 4 boys with great partners and now 7 amazing grandchildren, and a big red bike to help me unwind.....My varied career has been highlighted by being able to grow what ever I've been invloved in.In my early years my own business grew from being just me to 4 in the space of a year & eventually sold it for considerably more than I brought it for.Allied Concrete - Holcim Cement - In the early 90s I was emplyed by Allied Concrete to run a small plant, within a year I was running 9 plants and the business was growing and profits were improving. After a few years I moved to NZ Distribution Manager for Holcim a joint venture partner. QR - Aurizon since mid 2008 I've managed to grow a role in Aurizon moving from a Signalling planner to managing a group of 5 planners in planning Civil, Elctrical & Signalling work. Every day has its challenges and I love improving the systems and process were ever I am. More importantly I love seeing the potential in people being realised. I look back and realise that I owe a great deal of the success to the people I've worked with and managed along the way.
