My role as the Full-time e-commerce manager for BCBG Girls & Hedaya Home Fashions was all-encompassing and super exhilarating to grow from launch to 6 Figures in just 6 months. Working in one of the most highly competitive Amazon categories during the Pandemic, we saw our fair share of hijackers and sore loser competitors, which meant I spent most of my time on the defensive protecting and defending the Advertising ACOS listings, and brand. I also created a custom EDI that pulls sales from each sales channel we launched on Amazon Seller Central, Amazon Vendor Central, Walmart, Zulilly, Wayfair, Macy's and set up the fulfillment process, which worked seamlessly in real-time.Vendor Central was incredible to work with compared to seller central, although they both have their pros and cons. Amazon Vendor Central was an enlightening experience where I learned many secrets and tricks for amazon's algorithms over various modules and scenarios. While on the other hand, seller central gives much more transparency to Amazon sellers when it comes to FBA inventory.That being said, I still believe amazon vendor central is superior, which makes sense since Amazon does not issue vendor accounts to sellers anymore.
