Key focus on the hiring and training of associates to engage the guest, impact the financial performance of the properties, and manipulation of the sales efforts to gain share. Assisted the regional director of operations for the Colorado market to reduce expenses, drive quality improvements within the various hotels and establishing of standards and procedural programs to enhance the guest experience.

General Manager for the 400-room flagship property in downtown Denver market, promoted in 2004 to oversee the growth and expansion of the sole owned management company into markets to include, AZ, AR, CA, NV, and FL. Oversaw the initial renovation improvements of the Denver hotel and re-positioning from a Holiday Inn to that of Crowne Plaza.

Oversaw the Colorado market of the recently acquired extended stay concept for Marriott. Arranged, executed and fulfilled the temporary housing needs of guests with requirements exceeding a thirty day period with personalized housing and furnishings.

Brought to Denver to develop the leadership teams for the downtown convention center hotel following the purchase of the hotel and major renovation to return the hotel to Intercontinental Hotels Group standards and that of a Holiday Inn product. Heavy emphasis on rooms division to include front office, sales, marketing, catering, housekeeping and engineering teams.

Lead a team in Anaheim next to the entrance of Disneyland and the Anaheim convention center for an independent family of this boutique upscale hotel. Growth in occupancy, revenues, sales approach and media proliferation to ensure the California market and surrounding states were aware of the product and location to major attractions in the market.

Oversaw the day to day operational processes and sales efforts for two different job assignments within their portfolio of hotels. One property comprised of a 237 room Holiday Inn Hotel with 75,000 square feet of meeting and convention center space, featuring abilities to service 4,000 person events and meal periods as well as various trade show and events in the market.

Converted and re-established a four star hotel within the downtown urban market of Denver. A total of 200 guest rooms and suites with 8,000 feet of meeting with emphasis on the sales efforts, operational oversight and brand development. Extensive budgeting and profit/loss execution for the company.
