27 years of experience designing electronics for military aircraft applications in a safety critical environment. My expertise lies in processor system design and digital communications interfaces. In addition to circuit card design and FPGA development, my career has exposed me to testing, test set design, requirements tracking, specification & proposal writing, scheduling, budgeting and managing other engineers & support staff.I am also presently involved in Standards development. I am a contributing member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Avionics System Division that develops and maintains specifications and standards for various aircraft interfaces including MIL-STD-1760, High Speed 1760 (aka Fibre Channel), Miniature Munitions interface and Micro Munitions interface. I was also a member of the working group that developed the Universal Armament Interface (UAI) Platform Store Interface Control Document (ICD). Presently hold a Secret Clearance.
