Site Agent for Alun Griffiths Contractors Ltd in the rail division. Currently working on bridge replacements in South Wales as part of the GWRM project for Network Rail.

Sub Agent for HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction on the Bath Corridor Project. Involved in the delivery of multi-disciplined civils works focusing on bridge replacements as part of the GWEP project for Network Rail.

Completion of 12 month secondment working within a design office assisting with design works (focusing on bridges).

Section Engineer on the Crossrail Bridges Project. Responsible for the day to day running and delivery of works on two bridge reconstruction sites in west London. Responsibilities included:-Completion of task briefings and work package plans-Planning and supervising of possession works (including major disruptive possessions)-Management of multi-disciplinary subcontractors-Delivery of works for Network Rail-Interfacing with numerous contractors within adjacent works areas-Planning and completing works in line with ALO requirements-Working to and NR racecard procedures-Quality control and assurance-Appointed person for lifting operations

Senior Engineer on the Poole Twin Sails Project. Responsibilities included:-Supervision of setting out engineers-Assisting in production of task briefings and method statements-Ordering materials and plant-Day to day management of multi-disciplinary subcontractors and direct workforce-Quality control and assurance

Worked in the technical services department assisting with tendering and pre-construction services as well as completing temporary works designs for current and tendered projects.

Completed a year long placement working as a site setting-out engineer for HOCHTIEF (UK) Construction on a HOCHTIEF Griffiths Joint Venture. I was responsible for setting out control and QA for a section of the works including numerous structures including a viaduct, retaining walls and a concrete arch bridge.

Summer placement as student engineer on HOCHTIEF Griffiths joint venture. Involved in setting-out duties and site QA and admin.
