As the Finance and Operations Manager at St Bees Inpendent School, my 25 years of finance and accounting experience is prevalent in all aspects of job role, from reducing overheads, producing meaningful management accounts to present to the board, managing departmental budgets while delivering an excellent service and a strong ethos of teamwork helps to implement change within the organisation.One of my core attributes and belief is a strong commitment Kaizen, continues improvements or change for the better, along with accurate financial analysis, and transactional data, the devil is in the detail.I have experience in a wide range of finance departments and accounting backgrounds, Fund Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Financial Reporting. All of which has help me to become the respected finance manager I am today at St Bees School.During my career I’ve had the pleasure of working in New Zealand, which certainly influenced my lifestyle choice of living on English coastline and being within touching distance of the Lake District.
