Working with Align on the UBS AccountWorked directly with the UBS PMO and Support teams on their Global Premises Programme. Responsible for delivering the required strategy for USB’s London Premises Infrastructure while ensuring it meets the Global Structure. Ensuring Normal Working practices are maintained while upgrading their main Network, Security, Dealer board, VOIP and Virtual workstation Infrastructure.Achievements:• Delivery of a new Global Network Design and Policy• Delivery of a successful delivery model to enable the UBS business to active their goals.• Successful delivery of all documentation, including work packages, test plans and Project delivery glide paths to enable the business to deliver. • Successful Testing of the approach and delivery of the services into a global structured Infrastructure system.• Successful delivery of all new services into Operation readiness and operated out of their global follow the sun support systems.

Working with WIPRO on the Lloyds AccountWorked directly with the Lloyds PMO and Project Management team delivering the required Infrastructure Inventory updates to enable to delivery of their Immediate requirement to Remediate their Infrastructure & Application Services into a stream lined and Upgraded Global Structured. Delivery of a structure approach to achieving this requirement and delivery of the overall Goal. Achievements:• Delivery of a full Inventory based on actual Live Services.• Delivery of a successful delivery model to enable the Lloyds business to active their goals.• Successful delivery of all documentation, including work packages, test plans and Project delivery glide paths to enable the business to deliver. • Successful Testing of the approach and delivery of the services into a global structured Infrastructure system.

Premises Rationalisation Programme that looked at IT hardware, Office and DR requirements. Engaged with the Global Design Team to look at Increased Trading Performance, Produce Reports with all feasible solutions, and Present to Project board. • Design and Project Manage the build, fit-out and Infrastructure fit-out of the ICE European Data Centre that supports ICE’s leading Edge Trading & Clearing Systems. Project Team of over 10 people working on a $200m Business initiative over a 3 Year Period. Facility has 3 Halls each 100,000SqFt in size.• Installation of Latency critical Circuits with complete diversity.• Project Management of a New Latency Critical Network with Juniper Hardware.• Relocation of NYSE/ICE’s Disaster recovery facility.• Project Manage the Installation of a New Colocation Service with initial profit of over $9m.• Consolidation and closure of all Remaining European Data Centres in Paris, Amsterdam, London and Brussels.• Project Manage SFTI Network and Security Distribution system, SFTI Network Collocation requirements for over 60 of its Finical Banking Customers, Internal Operating systems and corporate systems throughout the EMIA Region.

Engaged with and work with the Head of all IT Business units to ascertain business requirements, report to the business on these requirements and build a road map as to how to achieve this with a full financial breakdown. Financial Savings were mad in excess of $10m.Achievements:• Global role out of Cisco integrated Voice system, with cost saving of over $2.3million on support and call costs achieved over a 2 year period.• Integration of New Cisco Call Manager Customer Call System with Voice Recording.• Continual Support Issues with NYSE’s London Data Centre Capacity, Re-design of the London Facility and Refresh of all NYSE’s Infrastructure (cisco to Juniper, HP Blade, SAN and Brocade). Initial costs proposed for the relocation were in excess of $60m, this project not only minimised costs but also increased Trading systems performance and capacity.• Roll out of CONNECT SFTI Infrastructure through the global, installation of Data Centre and Access Centre Infrastructure (Facility build, Network, Security and Server Hardware). Working with the newly form Design Teams working on the strategy for Competing with the new world of electronic trading. Project Managing the increased role out of the existing platform while upgrading Customer connectivity for decrease latency and increase Trading Volume and Capacity.• Requirements gathering.• Building and maintaining Project Plans.• Stakeholder Management through monthly reporting.• Capex and 3rd party budget responsibility.• Management of technical resources in support, engineering and development teams globally.Achievements:• Work with Network, DC and Security Design teams to turn business requirements into a tangible Project to support highly resilient - high volume Customer connectivity.• Installation of the first Point Of Presence in London, Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam to deliver the High Volume connectivity Sites with Network high volume connectivity to Customers.• Delivery of the first come and get it customer connectivity within the POP sites using Cisco Networks.• Roll out of remote Services to decrease Customer latency for none trading client specific Services. Work with the operational teams to support remote services through 3rd party maintenance agreements.• Roll out of Flow the SUN support systems to allow a cost effect Operational model to be run.

Reporting directly to the Head of Networks. Managed 8 engineers responsible for all new network installs and maintaining network services at member sites and the LIFFE Trading Floor. Leading team of multi-disciplined network engineers, ensuring Staff quality and resource delivery to support both Operational and Project work. Resource planning and prioritisation of engineering staff for Project work.

Reporting to the Network Supervisor, responsible for the Trading Floor Project work, customer installations, network support and Projects. Key projects like Delivery of Network Infrastructure to over 200 customers to deliver LIFFE APT (Automated Trading Platform), delivery of Network Infrastructure to run the largest European Trading floor, and the migration off Xyplex routers to a Cisco Solution.

Reporting directly to the Project Management division Manager, working closely with them on the delivery of Major Cabling Infrastructure Projects to plan and budget, Managing a team of engineers to carry out the installation to design requirements while liaising with customer to adjust designs to meet the ever changing requirements of the Financial and public sector business. Installations completed include The British Library, LIFFE Trading Floor and Merrill Lynch.

Reporting directly to the head of training I entered the Electrical Engineer and Design Programme at CJB. Training covered a wide breath of working Environments from House work all the way up to Large Scale Building Installations. The apprenticeship cover extra low, low and High Voltage installations. The Training and experience with it was of the highest standard and I completed this with honours. I worked alongside trained personal leading up to my last year where I was recognised for my organisational skills and was given my own team to work with, starting on small installations lead up to larger installations for the likes of NatWest and Local Government authorities and local Schools.
