I have actively practiced law in the environmental field for 20 years, working for a variety of individual, corporate, and public clients. I have been with the law firm of Eastman & Smith Ltd. my entire legal career. Prior to joining Eastman & Smith Ltd., I was a registered medical technologist with extensive laboratory experience. I have taught classes, spoken at seminars and written on a number of environmental topics.I intend to continue growing my practice and successfully serving my clients in the future, particularly as the environmental field increasingly influences and affects important issues affecting our country's health and safety, natural resources, energy, and sustainability.Specialties: CERCLA, RCRA, compliance enforcement, water and sewer, brownfield redevelopment, transactional due diligence, agency negotiation, contracting, remediation planning and oversight, and toxic torts. I work with and lead PRP groups, and oversee remediation projects. In recent years, I have represented both plaintiffs and defendants in toxic tort litigation, and participated in allocation-related arbitrations. I have also worked on water and sewer projects.
