Provide strategic leadership in SAGE’s US College management team with responsibility for growing and overseeing the implementation program to support College Digital Products. Manage a team of Implementation Specialists (IS) that are responsible for working with key university contacts to ensure successful setup and on-boarding for all customers groups. Coordinate with stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and IT/Pub Tech to cover all aspects of post-sale implementation including documentation, training, system integrations, and technical support.

Responsible for the strategic development and management of Corwin's online course business, which focuses on teacher licensure and recertification, as well as cohort-based and personalized professional learning opportunities supported and organized by schools and districts. Oversees course and content development, engages with Corwin authors, leads project management of key business operations, and business line roadmap planning to ensure that Corwin's online courses meet and exceed the needs of educators, map to and fulfill state-specific requirements, or other accreditation needs and opportunities. Will lead the design and development of innovative, engaging online learning design with a focus on delivering job-embedded and relevant learning opportunities in support teachers and their students. Working closely with the Senior Program Director for eLearning, will represent Corwin among multiple departments and work teams across Corwin and SAGE and will coordinate a variety of cross-functional projects or tasks to launch and scale this new product line.

Managed Pearson’s comprehensive self-paced online courseware solution called Propero. Reimagined product go-to-market for a struggling educational solution consisting of course content, e-texts, assessment items, LMS hosting, tutoring services, and academic success coaching. Built a high-performing team to curate courseware, drive sales with clients, onboard new clients, and manage term to term enrollments for all clients. Collaborated across the Pearson organization to develop and implement new business models.

Led Pearson’s efforts in selling and delivering a new online course offering built in 2008 known as CourseConnect. Developed sales strategy for the suite of over 130 outcomes based courses. Engaged with customers to understand their online learning needs and make informed development decisions for CourseConnect development. Trained hundreds of Pearson sales representatives in online courseware sales strategies. Built workflows to deliver and support thousands of individual courses used by over 450 institutions.

Built and led a custom-focused training program for new custom solutions managers (SMs) hired into the custom learning division. Moved training away from product-based focus to customer inquiry based. Hosted in person training sessions with new SMs tasked with selling custom solutions (print materials, digital courseware, instructional design services.) Traveled across US and Canada working directly on higher-ed campuses with new SMs to model best practices.

Drove adoption of custom learning solutions in several large for-profit higher education companies. Conducted extensive client consultations regarding on-ground and online learning needs to completely understand their needs. Built proposals containing product/service mix suggestions, timelines, and costs. Negotiated final agreements and oversaw implementation.

Managed key relationships at 5 major for-profit higher education companies. Sold print textbooks and digital solutions at a programmatic level by working with chief academic officers and corporate executives. Negotiated multi-year master service agreements to maximize Pearson content used by these companies.
