Key Roles and Responsibilities1. Develop a site and production plan (Drilling and blasting) for the operation.2. Develop and maintain production (drill and blast) schedules.3. Ensure that the annual production Plan is broken down into sufficient detail for budgeting.4. Identify key engineering and mining success factors and issues that could impact the economic viability of drill designs and blast plans.5. Identify key engineering and mining success factors and issues that could positively impact the economic viability of the operation.6. Design and develop processes, practices and methodologies using engineering practices to ensure alignment with the organization’s long-term strategy.7. Evaluates costs, engineering and production data.8. Support corporate feasibility study efforts and technical due diligence including preparation of drilling and blasting cost and operational schedules.9. Analyze information and prepare technical documents to support decision making; present recommendations and provide status updates to management.10. Actively communicate information related to engineering best practices and professional development.11. Identify Continuous Business Improvement opportunities.12. Implement industrial best health and safety practices.13. Actively contribute to site safety policy and new initiatives and respect the implementation of change as directed by Management.14. Attend monthly safety meetings with department personnel and achieve the agreed action plans.15. Participate in proactive safety culture by the identification, development, and review of safe practices and procedures and by ensuring the awareness of all departmental personnel.16. Do a weekly, monthly and annual production report to management with a SWOT analysis.17. Able to present a proposal to the company’s clients.

Design, implement, and monitor the development of mines, facilities, systems or equipment.3. Prepare schedules, reports and estimates of the costs involved in developing and operating mines. 4. Inspect mining areas for unsafe structures, equipment, and working conditions. 5. Select or develop mineral locations, extraction, and production methods, based on factors such as safety, cost, and deposit characteristics.6. Monitor mine production rates to assess operational effectiveness. 7. Supervise, train and evaluate technicians or other mine personnel. 8. Implement and coordinate mine safety programs, including the design and maintenance of protective and rescue equipment and safety devices. 9. Ensuring that operations comply with health and safety requirements set forth by the company, local, state and federal laws. 10. Ensures regular HSE toolbox talks are conducted with subordinates.
