• Maintain and support all aspects of the electrical and instrumentation control process in regards to the power plant's coal delivery process, flue gas desulfurization system (FGD) and waste water treatment. Responsible for the installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting and the repair of various field instrumentation devices including flow, pressure, differential pressure, temperature and level smart 4-20ma transmitters, digital and analog indicating instruments, PH and density measuring devices, thermocouple testing, pneumatic, hydraulics and motor operated valves, electric actuators, and all their associated controls. Also provide troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of 4160V and below motors and all equipment associated with them including VFD's, pump's, belt conveyors and various other motor control devices and their switchgear including cabling and terminations. • Effectively use drawings and documentation related to the electrical and process controls including One-line, Elementary Schematic, Wiring, P&ID’s, Instrument Loop, Interconnect, Copper/Fiber Communication and vendor's provided drawings. • Interpret and troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLC and Ovation DCS logic software systems including associated hardware and the ladder logic, function block, Gate logic and structured text routines. Troubleshooting and repairing communication issues dealing with the ControlNet, fiber optics and copper Ethernet systems.
