CurrentI am an enthusiastic professional person, over the past few years I have re-organised the stores area, and using a report generator I designed a new report to review stock min/max levels, subsequently I introduced an MRP system which by controlling stock levels has helped us reduce unnecessary inventory and focus on buying stock which has good stock turns and not buying slow moving stock, I have also negotiated with suppliers and manufacturers supported terms and introduced consignment stock only paying for what we use after we have used it, again reducing inventory exposure, I have created a system for stock take which has improved year on year and has gone from taking over a week to complete, to just a couple of days, which has received praise from external auditors, I have been focusing on buying mechanical items for stock and electrical items for both stock and projects, however I am going to be taking an active role in purchasing mechanical items for projects as well as electrical, I have received a badge for leadership and follower-ship from the open university, and am an advocate of coaching and solution focused thinking, don't just bring a problem, find the solutionI am a fully qualified mechanical engineer and fully qualified electrical engineer with an ONC in electronics, I am also a qualified fire marshal and St Johns ambulance trained first aider and I am serious about health and safety at work and am an advocate of continuous improvement
