Worked on a Navy Simulation System (TIMS) written in C, C++, and Motif. The system was deployed for over 13 years and forward deployed with the US Navy. I helped design and rewrite the legacy code and migrated C and Cursors code to C++ and Motif. Fixed and reimplemented many low-level communication modules using state-of-the-art approaches. I designed and developed an analysis tool (GVA) for Law Enforcement that was used for 10 years to track criminal networks and call data networks. I trained, deployed, and supported the product in customer organizations. I managed a team and designed software for ONDCP and DARPA projects. I developed a software tool to deliver cutting-edge health information for NIH using a web UI. ⦿ Implemented fast access to legacy information stored in a C Tree data store.

I worked on real-time military simulation software using Motif and C++. The development involved both GUI Motif development and real-time communication modules. The real-time communication modules were used to pass information from GUI's and between distributed modules and sensors. Most code was very low-level using C++ and custom socket interfaces. The software was fielded with the US Navy.
