This was done with a mix of Manual & Automation Testing, with a strong watch on security risks as the data throughout the system contained personal and sensitive information.My focus has been on:• Smoke Testing and Regression Testing with each deployment between Salesforce environments. I would achieve this by manual testing as well as third-party automation software (such as Provar & Avo Automation) to rigorously determine that current and new functionality worked as expected. As an example, I heavily oversaw that lead conversion, flows and process builders that a Salesforce user would use in the front-end passed tests successfully. • Designing and enforcing test scripts and scenarios for the tech tickets in our development pipeline, raising detailed bug tickets where applicable. Additionally, with some knowledge in Salesforce developing as well, I would also investigate possible reasoning behind the bugs found and list suggestions to help steer the developers into potential root causes.• Progress the testing culture in the organisation by improving automation within it and to provide regular reports on functionality success-rates prior to each Live Deployment. In each report, I highlight each categorised test method, number of test runs, expected results, UAT to Production impact, bugs found and resolved over time.• With previous experience in managing the Data Migration for our Organisation, I also led and ran our Data Migration Test planning as we continued to condense our previous Salesforce Suite, Google Hub and similar systems into the newly created Platform.
