After touring for one month with the Glenn Miller Orchestra playing concerts and dances throughout the Midwest, I completed two contracts for Royal Caribbean as drummer with the ship's orchestra on the Enchantment of the Seas and the Legend of the Seas. During the summers of 2012 and 2013, I performed with the RKO Jazz Quartet, the house band at the Jazz on Four venue on Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas.

While pursuing the doctorate in Composition at UK, I taught the complete undergraduate Music Theory/Aural Skills sequence, Instrumentation-Orchestration, tutored in Music Theory and Music History, and co-founded the UK Contemporary Music Ensemble.

Jamaican Breeze performed for public and private events throughout the greater Chicagoland area. In addition, I have performed on steel pan as an orchestral musician with the Chicago Symphony and the Cleveland Orchestra as parts for steel pan have turned up in newer scores.

In collaboration with classroom teachers, I provided evaluation of and small-group instruction for students in grades 1-4 who needed extra assistance with learning to read.

I performed with the CSO on numerous concerts each season (subscription concerts, children/family and school programs, members-of concerts, and the contemporary MusicNow series), on over twenty-five recordings (including two Grammy winners for Best Orchestral Performance), one film score (Disney's Fantasia 2000), and several domestic and international tours.
