Building the Education Revolution Project:Laing O’ Rourke Australia Construction Pty Ltd was appointed as Managing Contractor to facilitate the roll out of the ‘Building the Education Revolution' (BER) – Primary Schools for the 21st Century for the Western and Riverina Regions, which involved the construction and refurbishment over 300 Schools (Project). Duties on the project:• Preparation and analysis of all variation submissions for over 300 Schools for the Project;• Coordination of Final Actual Construction Sum (ACS) submission for the Project;• Implement, draft and finalise ACS procedures for submission;• Submit final payment claims to the Integrated Program Office (IPO);• Liaise and coordinate between the IPO and Laing O’ Rourke’s on site teams to implement future procedures to achieve objectives; and• Weekly reporting regarding financial project review and status to Laing O’ Rourke Commercial Manager.
