Currently provide advice on all areas of medical negligence such as Cerebral Palsy, cardiology, orthopaedics, fatal injuries, obstetrics & gynaecology, Accident & Emergency negligence, dental negligence, eye injuries, GP negligence, spinal injury, surgical negligence, shoulder injuries, neurology.Many of my completed cases were extremely complex and settled for significant monetary amounts. I also assist families with autism and right to educate cases. I represent families at Inquests to establish the cause of death. This includes cross examining doctors, forensically examining charts and depositions. I have also recently lectured for Law Society of Ireland and Irish life. I have been involved in a number of cases which have developed legal jurisprudence. I have given extensive media interviews and regularly attend medical negligence conferences both nationally and internationally to keep abreast of practice developments. I am a member of the Sligo Bar Association, the Medical injuries Alliance and Member of Action against medical accidents AVMA and have attended mediation courses. I am a keen sportsman and still tog out with my local soccer team Ballina Town. I have been a member of Social Committee in the practice for many years. I have a particular interest in cardiology cases.
