I am an active-duty soldier and a rising 4th year doctoral student at the Uniformed Services University (USU) in Bethesda, Maryland. I earned a master's degree in clinical psychology from USU and have received extensive training in therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and Brief dynamic therapy. I am also actively involved in mental health research and play a key role in three manuscripts currently in pre-submission for publication. These manuscripts address topics including binge and heavy drinking in the United States military, multimorbidity among women soldiers with post-deployment at-risk drinking, and psychosocial treatment engagement rates across various forms of externalizing psychopathology in the Department of Defense Health-Related Behaviors Survey.
