Operations Manager
Current- Contribute to strategic plans and reviews by providing operations information and recommendations- Implement and enforce production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems- Forecast requirements, prepare annual budgets, and schedule expenditures- Develop and evaluate operations systems, policies, and procedures for product handling, storage, inventory management, and shipping- Analyze and improve organizational processes, workflows, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations- Manage operations staff levels, wages, hours, and contracts- Ensure a safe and injury/accident-free workplace- Oversee hardware, software, vehicle, and heavy equipment management- Establish contracts and pricing, liaise with utilities and local government agencies- Manage relationships with key vendors, track pricing, rebates, and service levels- Review and approve operational invoices for payment- Collaborate with MD, HR, and management team to set and implement policies, procedures, and systems- Communicate with legal counsel and safety department to ensure compliance with OSHA health and safety regulations and other governmental regulations
